If your community group or organisation would like to know more, or be part of the GCDM Network, then send us an email or contact one of our coordination team via our contact us page, and we'd be happy to provide more information.
Alternatively, if you'd like to request a copy of the GCDM Network Handbook, just send us an email or click the request button in the above section. We also have a PDF version that can be viewed at the bottom section of this page.
We also have forms for local organisations or community groups to register their contact details and resources; just let us know and we will email them out to you.
Please be aware that it is not the responsibility of the GCDM Network to mobilise hands on action groups or volunteers in times of natural disaster events or major emergency events. Our role is to provide the Sunshine Coast Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) with a collaborative database of community resources and services only, and share public information.
Local and State organisations are responsible for these roles, including QFES and SES. In a severe weather event or natural disaster emergency situation please refer to the Sunshine Coast Disaster Hub.http://disaster.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
